Can I insure my children?
Yes. Family members are covered with this policy.
How much is it?
There are 2 types of policy, the Standard and the Excecutive policy.
The Standard policy is for phones up to £400 and costs £5.88
per month.
The Executive policy is for phones from £400 to £1,000, and
costs £7.99 per month.
When am I covered?
With the Instant Cover, you are covered as soon as the online payment transaction
of the first 3 months premium goes through.
With the Delayed Cover, you are not covered until the first Direct Debit
payment for the first 3 months premium is paid.
When will I receive the paperwork through the post?
You will receive your policy details with your Direct Debit confirmation
paperwork. Because the banks take some time to set up your Direct Debit,
it can take some time for them to confirm the set-up of your Direct Debit.
This can usually takes 3-4 weeks.
So long as you put your correct email address in when you order, you will
receive email confirmation for your policy order instantly.
Am I insured in a commercial vehicle?
Because commercial vehicles (such as builders vans etc) can have a large
number of phones stored in them and potentially stolen, we cannot insure
the phone in any comercial vehicle. 'Commercial vehicle' means a work vehicle.
How do I make a claim on my mobile phone policy?
Simply contact the claims line on 0871 222 1130 as soon as possible.
How quickly will I get my replacement phone?
We process the majority of claims within 48 hours, so your phone is back
with you within the shortest possible time. You are always welcome to call
us to check how your claim is progressing call 0871 222 1130 and select
the option for phone insurance.
Are there any excess charges when I make a claim?
To avoid fraudulent claims there has to be an excess charge implemented.
However the cost is low compared to the replacement cost of a new mobile
phone.
If you are making a claim due to theft or accidental damage then the excess
charge is £25
If you are making a claim due to loss, then the excess charge is £50
If you are making a claim due to international cover, then the excess charge
is £75

I have ordered mobile phone insurance but I have not received my
policy - where is it?
Paperwork usually takes 2-4 weeks as it is sent to you with the Direct Debit
confirmation from the bank. If it has been longer than 2-4 weeks since you
ordered your policy, please call us on 0871 222 1130 and let us know.
