What is covered?

• ComputerCover covers laptops for 'All Risks' insurance against theft and accidental damage including when stolen from a locked car boot.

• The insured is covered anywhere in the world including whilst travelling.

• In the case of an individual policy immediate family members are insured to use the equipment.

• In the instance of a business all staff members are covered for use.
Educational establishments can be confident that all pupils, parents of pupils, teachers and staff members are insured.

What is NOT covered?

• The policy does not cover thefts from unattended cars where the item is not in a locked car boot or glove compartment.

• Where equipment has been left unattended in the open or mislaid the claim will not be covered.

• Electrical and mechanical breakdown, maintenance, wear and tear and fraud and dishonesty are not covered.

• We will not insure equipment more than 28 days old.
This rule does not apply to companies and educational establishments.
